Greeters & Ushers

Greeters are the first person you see when you walk in on a Sunday morning. They meet you at the door to answer any questions, point your in the direction of anything you may need, and welcome you to our Worship Space with warmth. Ushers help during the service by passing the collection plate between pews, presenting the wine and bread to the deacon, and guide the flow during the Eucharist.
Coffee Hour Hosts

Coffee Hour Hosts offer an important ministry while doing a simple task - brewing coffee. The incarnational aspect of our worship extends to the Gathering Space before and after service by allowing us to truly know, love, and support our community in the breaking of chocolate chip cookies and drinking of coffee. There is no substitute to time spent together, and it’s thanks to these Hosts that we can enjoy it over a warm beverage.
Farmers’ Market

The Anderson Township Farmers’ Market has found its home in the West parking lot at St. Timothy’s. While it is a market of and for the community, it’s important to have representatives volunteering to guide people to the bathrooms, to get water for the vendors, and to provide hospitality to our friends. The market runs from May to October on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. Volunteer positions are available both shortly before and after for set up and break down.
Game Night

St. Timothy’s Game Night occurs on the first Saturday of every month at 6pm. During periods of high Covid transmission, they meet on zoom for online games. During normal times, they meet in the Parish Hall. Everyone is encouraged to brig a game to share, snacks and drinks are optional. This is a great way to meet people in your parish in a low-stress situation.
Young Adult Group

This group is 20s and 30s, students, professionals, married, single, gay and straight. They love and support each other, and on the Second Sunday of each month after the last service for fellowship. The group is relatively small but are always pleased to get to know someone new. A typical meeting takes place at a restaurant nearby, someone’s house, or at the church, and includes food, laughs, games, and/or movies.
Funeral Receptions

Setting up and tearing down for funeral receptions is a great way to be the hands and feet of Jesus, the cup of strength to suffering souls. Many of the people who attend funerals at St. Tim’s do not attend our Sunday services regularly - this presents an opportunity to love them back into being.
