St. Timothy’s ADULT Choir
The Choir is open to all parishioners, high school age and older, who value music in our worship and have a talent for singing. The Choir enhances our worship with a wide variety of choral music at our weekly 11:15 a.m. worship service and at other special services. Traditional Anglican music is heard alongside other styles of choral music such as Gospel and the great wealth of spiritual music from the African-American tradition. The Choir rehearses on the Sunday mornings that the Adult Choir sings. There are no regularly scheduled weekday rehearsals.
St. Timothy’s family Choir
The Family Choir is an inter-generational Choir that sings the second Sunday of every month at the 9:00 a.m. worship service. The choir is open to anyone 7th grade and up. Rehearsals are held at 7:45 a.m. on the same Sunday morning that the Family Choir sings at the 9:00 a.m. worship service. There are no regularly scheduled weekday rehearsals.
modern worship ensemble
This group of instrumentalists, typically made up of instruments such as guitars, piano, percussion, woodwinds, and strings, joins a volunteer group of singers to help lead worship songs and provide musical offerings at the 9:00 am service. They rehears on the second and fourth Thursdays 7:00 pm in the choir room. In addition to normal rehearsals, the ensemble provides opportunities for singers/instrumentalists to participate in Sunday worship through a short rehearsal on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am in the choir room. New modern worship leader Jacob Perez leads the instrumentalists and singers. Contact: Jacob Perez (email@example.com)
St. Timothy’s Children’s Choir rehearses during the 9:00 am service between the Children’s Sermon and the Announcements. Singers are provided with skills to increase musical literacy, skills for vocal training, and learn about how musical development and spiritual development intersect. Good News Choir
Wayne Luessen directs an informal choir that helps lead our hymn singing at the 9:00 a.m. worship service. If you would like to sing with the choir, please join them in the choir loft after you receive Communion. Open to all ages. Contact: Wayne Luessen (WLuessen@Gmail.com)
