Dialogues Along The Way
This Lent join us as we journey toward a better understanding of what it means to love your neighbor, no exceptions. Along the path we will participate in various dialogues and hear personal stories to enrich our understanding of each other.
We’ll celebrate relationship and riches in human diversity with our interfaith dialogue 2017 series, Wednesday evenings beginning February 22. This series includes our neighbors at the Clifton Mosque and the Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati. All are welcome for any of the sessions.
We’ll look at what our own Christian tradition says about other paths to God at The Forum on Sunday mornings. Join us in the Parish Hall as we consider this question from the teachings of the Old Testament, New Testament, and responses and movements within the Episcopal Church and the wider Anglican Communion.
And we will build bridges of love and understanding between communities that don’t often meet through events with the Cincinnati Community Coalition. The CCC is an interfaith group which has come together to reconnect humans to each other and build bridges of love. They address issues in our communities such as poverty, violence, and hatred. If you are interested in participating in this group or would like more information, contact Roger Greene. Upcoming events include a shared Game Night at Clifton United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 pm and a shared meal experience with Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church on a date still to be determined. Watch this space for details!
