Women on the Journey
9:30-11:30 a.m. Thursdays
Women on the Journey is a weekday opportunity for women to reflect on their lives as Christians in the world and to study the Bible in a small group setting. This year, the group is using "Welcome to the Wisdom of the World and It's Meaning For You" by Joan Chittister. The group meets weekly, on Thursdays 9:30-11:30 am, Sept-May, with a break between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Childcare provided. Click here to sign-up online. Covenant Groups
Covenant Groups are made up of individuals who agree to meet one evening per month for a period of twelve months. Groups typically share a meal or refreshments and reflect together on a particular subject or book, exploring their covenant with God, one another and the world. Two women's covenant groups are currently in process: Everyday Spirituality Covenant Group and Mothering Covenant Group. If there is sufficient interest in forming a new group, additional covenant groups will be created.

Everyday Spirituality Covenant Group
First Monday of the month beginning September 12
The Everyday Spirituality Covenant Group meets monthly on the first Monday of the month for fellowship and reflection on the book selected for the year. This year’s selection is God of Our Mothers by M.R. Ritley. New members are welcome. Click here to sign-up online.

Mothering Covenant Group
Fourth Tuesday of the month beginning September 27

Men's Contemplative Prayer Group
7:00-8:00 a.m. Tuesdays
The Men's Contemplative Prayer Group meets every Tuesday morning from 7:00-8:00 a.m. This group of men is committed to a daily practice of contemplative prayer and has met weekly for over 6 years to pray and reflect on their spiritual journeys. New members are always welcome.

Parents of Little Ones (POLO)
POLO is a group of parents of children ranging from infants to pre-teens. They meet every other Sunday, September-May, during the coffee hour to discuss experiences and situations that arise in their busy lives. It is an opportunity to meet casually with other parents and to share in fellowship with one another.

Book Discussion Group
7:00-8:30 p.m. Second Tuesday of the Month
St. Timothy's Book Discussion Group meets on the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church Parlor. Books include a variety of contemporary and classical fiction and non-fiction as well as writings related to Biblical and spiritual topics. Titles are selected by the group and publicized in advance. Individuals are welcome on a regular or occasional basis. Look for bookmarks in the Gathering Space listing current and upcoming titles.
